Hospitality Advisors' hotel statistical reports, the monthly Hawaii Hotel Flash Report and the Weekly Hotel Report, provide operating benchmark data for lodging properties in the State of Hawaii. The surveys are the largest in the State and are reported as part of the State of Hawaii's Department of Business, Economic Development & Tourism official visitor industry data.
Survey data is weighted to compensate for any under or over-reporting by class of property or geographic location, as well as to adjust for minor fluctuations in survey respondents. The surveys are conducted by Smith Travel Research with the assistance of Hospitality Advisors.
The Hawaii Hotel Flash Report provides occupancy, average daily rate, and RevPAR (revenue per available room) statistics for the State lodging market. These data are reported by geography and by class of property. The Hawaii Hotel Flash Report is comprised of 160 properties representing 78.8 percent of all hotel inventory for properties with 20 rooms or more, including condiminium hotels, in the state of Hawaii.
The Hawaii Hotel Flash Report is available on a subscription basis at
$750 per calendar year or $125 per issue. To order, please complete and

The Weekly Hotel Report provides a snapshot comparison of Hawaii's hotel market with that of selected markets on the U.S. Mainland. Hawaii statistics are based on a daily hotel survey generally consisting of approximately 99 properties representing 38,570 rooms, or 60.0 percent of the State's total hotel rooms for properties with 20 units or more. The daily hotel survey provides preliminary daily market information, whereas Hospitality Advisors' monthly Hawaii Hotel Flash Report provides full monthly performance.
The Weekly Hotel Report is not available on a subscription basis.
